My name is Astrid Villarroel. My family is from Chile, but we live in the Miami area. I am currently a communications major. My dad is a pilot, and I have traveled a lot. I've visited places such as France, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and more! My family immigrated from Venezuela to Chile and later from Chile to the United States. I have dual citizenship as I was born in Chile but now live in the U.S.

I'm 18 years old and have a passion for all things media. Specifically, I have an interest in nature as the terrain differences between Chile and the United States fascinate me. I do not currently have a job or do volunteer work, but in my previous years, I have worked at an ice cream store and volunteered for a cheerleading squad.

My favorite social media platform is Discord as I play many video games and it allows me to interact with others who also play video games conveniently. This is my first time creating a blog ever, and I am quite excited. I don't read blogs, but I have skimmed some blogs when looking for recipes for baking as I enjoy baking a lot. I like the freedom blogs offer as they can be as personal or impersonal as one chooses. However, I dislike this personable trait of blogs when I am looking for something specific such as a recipe, and must scroll through a lot of text to find it.
